Armenian Internet Governance Forum, ArmIGF 2016

The second annual Armenian Internet Governance Forum, ArmIGF 2016, was held on October 5, 2016 in Yerevan, Armenia. It was organized by the IGC with the support of the MTCIT of Armenia  and the ISOC Armenia.  The forum brought together around 150 participants of all stakeholder groups from 10 countries: Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, USA. 86% of all participants were from Armenia.

The Forum was aimed to be a capacity-building event, as well as a space for discussions on Internet governance emerging issues, challenges and define the way forward.

The theme of the ArmIGF 2016 was “Internet Governance for Sustainable and Inclusive development“. It was a one-day event with plenary and panel sessions program.
